createCodex() accepts these settings: model (OpenAI model id, uses pinned default if omitted), reasoningEffort ('low', 'medium', or 'high'), webSearch (boolean to allow live web search), port (bridge port override), startupTimeoutMs (maximum time to wait for bridge to start), and auth (OpenAI, OpenAI-compatible, or AI Gateway authentication settings).
Authentication can be passed explicitly via createCodex() with auth parameter. Supports openai object with apiKey property, and auth.openaiCompatible for OpenAI-compatible endpoints.
