The JWT plugin provides endpoints to retrieve JWT tokens and a JWKS endpoint to verify tokens. It is not meant as a replacement for sessions, but for services that require JWT tokens. For JWT tokens used as authentication method, the Bearer Plugin should be checked out instead.
