Bun bundler does not support syntactic down-leveling

Bun's bundler does not perform syntactic down-leveling. The esbuild `--target` flag for this purpose is not supported.

Standalone HTML limitations

Code splitting is not supported — --splitting cannot be used with --compile --target=browser. Large assets increase file size since they are base64-encoded with 33% overhead vs raw binary. External URLs (CDN links, absolute URLs) are left as-is — only relative paths are inlined.

Current limitations of Bun fullstack dev server

Auto-discovery of API routes is not implemented. Server-side rendering (SSR) is not built-in.
