Vector path icon source

Vector paths for icons can be exported from tools like Adobe Creative Suite.

Built-in icon types

ECharts provides the following built-in icon types: 'circle', 'rect', 'roundRect', 'triangle', 'diamond', 'pin', 'arrow', and 'none'.

Image URL icon format

Icons can be set to an image by using the format 'image://url' where URL is the link to an image. Example: 'image://http://example.website/a/b.png'.

Data URI icon format

Icons can be set using a dataURI of an image with the format 'image://data:image/gif;base64,...'. This allows embedding image data directly without an external URL.

Vector path icon format

Icons can be set to arbitrary vector paths via the 'path://' prefix in ECharts. Vector paths use SVG PathData format and prevent jagging and blurring when scaled, with better control over changing colors. The size of the vector icon is adapted automatically.
