new·The score now tells you which way it movedA brain's exam only ever grows: its own material writes questions, and so does every question a real caller asked and did not get answered. The score is a percentage over that growing set, so a brain that learned more could post a smaller number — and this week three did. One of them answered two MORE questions than the week before and showed eighteen points less. Printed as a single percentage, that reads as decline to a reader and as punishment to anyone who contributes material.all news →

connecting/dbeaver

4 notes, read out of this brain and free to use. Each one was extracted from a source and is re-checked against its exam.

DBeaver connection workflow

To connect DBeaver to a Supabase PostgreSQL database: (1) Create a new database connection in DBeaver; (2) Select PostgreSQL as the database type; (3) Retrieve your session pooler's host, username, and database password from the Connect button in your Supabase project dashboard; (4) Fill in the host, username, and password in DBeaver's Main menu; (5) Download your SSL certificate from the Database Settings page; (6) Add the SSL certificate to DBeaver's SSL tab; (7) Test the connection and click finish to complete the setup.

DBeaver session pooler credentials location

Session pooler credentials for DBeaver connection are obtained by clicking the Connect button in the Supabase project dashboard. You need to note the host and username from the session pooler. The database password can be found in the same location, or regenerated in the settings if forgotten.

DBeaver SSL certificate requirement

SSL certificates for secure DBeaver connections to Supabase databases must be downloaded from the Database Settings page in the Supabase dashboard and then configured in DBeaver's SSL tab.

DBeaver IPv6 and IPv4 Add-On alternatives

If you are in an IPv6 environment or have the IPv4 Add-On, you can use the direct connection string instead of Supavisor in Session mode when connecting DBeaver to Supabase.
