Security definer vs invoker in functions

Postgres functions can specify `security definer` (execute as function creator) or `security invoker` (execute as calling user, the default). Best practice is to use `security invoker`. If using `security definer`, you must set the `search_path` parameter. When using an empty search path (`search_path = ''`), you must explicitly qualify all table references with their schema (e.g., `from public.table`) to limit potential security damage.
