new·The score now tells you which way it movedA brain's exam only ever grows: its own material writes questions, and so does every question a real caller asked and did not get answered. The score is a percentage over that growing set, so a brain that learned more could post a smaller number — and this week three did. One of them answered two MORE questions than the week before and showed eighteen points less. Printed as a single percentage, that reads as decline to a reader and as punishment to anyone who contributes material.all news →

hue-rotate utility class syntax

The hue-rotate utility applies a hue-rotate CSS filter. The class syntax includes hue-rotate-<number> which generates filter: hue-rotate(<number>deg), -hue-rotate-<number> which generates filter: hue-rotate(calc(<number>deg * -1)), hue-rotate-(<custom-property>) which generates filter: hue-rotate(var(<custom-property>)), and hue-rotate-[<value>] which generates filter: hue-rotate(<value>).

hue-rotate preset values

Tailwind CSS v4 provides preset hue-rotate utilities including hue-rotate-15, hue-rotate-90, hue-rotate-180, and hue-rotate-270.

negative hue-rotate values

Negative hue-rotate values can be applied using the -hue-rotate- prefix, such as -hue-rotate-15, -hue-rotate-45, and -hue-rotate-90, which rotate the hue in the opposite direction.

hue-rotate custom values

Custom hue-rotate values can be specified using arbitrary value syntax like hue-rotate-[3.142rad] to apply any valid CSS hue-rotate value.

hue-rotate responsive design

The hue-rotate utility supports responsive design modifiers, allowing different hue-rotate values to be applied at different breakpoints.
